Voting: why it matters most this year
Voting is the cornerstone of a democracy. Does your vote matter? Yes!
Voters have a powerful impact on public policy , especially at the local level. The people pick the direction of the Village by whom they elect into office. Hales Corners residents re-elected (2-to-1, over the write-in opponent) Dan Besson a conservative fiscal candidate who is responsible and responsive to the residents. A president who builds relationships with other governmental bodies , can steer and grow the Village economy and hears the voice of the people. I listen to the residents and vote with the majority voice in Hales Corners. As I meet with residents (at the village hall and around our community), I hear your frustration over different issues. I do hold public quarterly Town Hall meetings to receive feedback from residents about our Village. I am always available by phone and WILL call you back to discuss your unique issues and try to work towards compromises and/or resolutions.
On April 6, 2021 you voted and your voice was heard to stay with a solid Village President who listens to the voters and is keeping Hales Corners a prosperous community. Your vote gave you the opportunity to re-elect a Village President along with three trustees. On April 6, 2021 your vote was your voice! You were heard. Keep voting and help keep changing the future of Hales Corners to a better tomorrow. Thank you for voting for Dan Besson on April 6, 2021!
